Open-Box Appliance Condition Guide

Our open-box appliances are assigned a grade based on any visible cosmetic wear that may be seen on the exterior once the item is installed. No matter the grade, every appliance is verified to operate properly and perform as intended unless specifically noted.

Grade A — Like-New Appearance
No noticeable imperfections on the front-facing surfaces. Minor marks may exist in areas that won’t be visible after installation, and they do not impact performance.

Grade B — Light Cosmetic Wear
May have small scuffs, faint scratches, dings or minor blemishes that are typically hard to spot. These do not affect how the appliance looks once installed or how it functions.

Grade C — Noticeable Cosmetic Imperfections
May have one or more dents, dings, or visible marks. Imperfections are generally limited to specific areas and may be less visible after installation. Fully functional.

Grade D — Prominent Front-Facing Cosmetic Damage & or Missing Parts
Has clearly visible dents, scratches, or blemishes on surfaces that remain visible after installation. Cosmetic condition is affected, but the appliance operates properly. Missing parts will be listed in the description.
